THE BEST MATERIAL

Americover’s product is manufactured with a blend of virgin polyethylene resin film, 8 millimeters thick and reinforced for strength and resilience. Two sheets of this film are laminated together, then fused with another layer of poly.

ACHIEVE TOTAL DARKNESS

No perforations, pinholes, or breaks of any sort are part of the design, guaranteeing 100% darkness as desired when utilized. An inside-lined carbon black helps reinforce total nighttime conditions.

UV RESISTANT

The fabric’s outward-facing side is white and engineered with UV inhibitors to reflect sun’s rays away from the structure. This ensures that greenhouse temperatures don’t climb too high and endanger your plants when covered.

HEAT REFLECTIVE

To add to heat protection, the outer sides also contain heat stabilizers. These further prevent heat from being absorbed into the plastic when covers are set in place, thus keeping plants safe.

STRONG AND DURABLE

A heavy scrim reinforcement is placed between polyethylene layers, adding excellent tear-resistance and durability. Criss-crossed, diamond-shaped weaving within quickly stops, prevents, and blocks tears when (or if ever) they do happen.

TEMPERATURE RESILIENCE

Resistance to temperature like no other blackout fabric. Can withstand temperatures as low as -70° F, and as high as 180° F to still operate, making light deprivation possible in any climate.
